Well, it keeps continuing a burden of ‘falsifies’ latterly. We, the people, are getting drained these days! Not sure any vice president, president, or CEO these days is telling the truthfully stories. Apologetic. We, the people, will be knowledgeable of it from this day forwards. That is very bullshit info. You steal hugh money from FCC. Purple Co still illegal like daily meeting with manager/team/confirm with customer thru VRS. Stop liar to deaf communities and other Companies. They used text message during 2008/2009 over 4000 minutes each month. Huh….

Remember Purple cut all ties with Datastar after only about 90 days of the partnership with them. It is very possible, like other people mentioned, that he was the person who strongly advocated that the company cut ties with Datastar, who obviously was not treating their Deaf employees well. I am sorry that Maria lost her job, but I think it is better that Datastar cease all involvement with the Deaf community than to put other Deaf people through miserable working conditions.

Let’s take everything with a grain of salt and assume that there is more to a story than meets the eye.

Mr. Nelson and Purple are entitled to the benefit of the doubt. Sometimes lower level employees do not or can not really see a company’s true motives.

I wonder…… Does Mr. Nelson meet in person now and then with his employees to be aware of situations like Maria describes?

I have worked for an VRS company before, and found that I was always denied access to upper level management. Was always shunted around to lower or mid level people who probably never informed upper management of things.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. I would suggest that you upload your video @ YouTube. DeafRead is not popular anymore. You have only 292 viewers as of now. Many Deaf people have left DeafRead and DeafVideo for YouTube and DeafCube or even Facebook. You will see more Deaf viewers out there. They will not be able to see your vlog if they do not visit here at DeafRead.

Also, you can see Ryan Commerson s vlog at YouTube has over 500 viewers. That is why I suggest that you upload your vlog over there.
